Students interact with tortoise and snake
Our study unit on reptiles has been fascinating. We have had two live reptiles visit our class: Orange Door's "Elvis" the king snake made an appearance and a Red Door student's pet African Spurred Tortoise named "Torty." Live specimen visits can extinguish fear of reptiles and develop interest in uncommon pet reptiles.
