Our Program
· Offers practical guidance in order to apply Montessori philosophy, current attachment research and neurobiology to your parenting practice
· Promotes effective parenting skills to handle challenging behaviors, enhances children’s socio-emotional abilities, and strengthens the attachment relationship
· Sessions meet Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for six weeks at Montessori Center School, Santa Barbara’s oldest and largest Montessori school.
· Scholarship available.
About the Instructor
Camila Barreto holds an M.A in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Prenatal and Birth Psychology, a M.A in International Development and a B.A in psychology. Camila is a certified Early Childhood Montessori teacher from the American Montessori Society (AMS). Camila worked as a Primary Montessori teacher for 6 years and currently works as a bilingual therapist. Camila is the proud mother of two young children and has been a parent at Montessori Center School for two years.
