- Children bring their own lunches. Milk and water are provided by MCS during lunch. Cooking projects may occur in the classes; you may be asked to contribute an ingredient. Some classes may organize pizza orders on Fridays. If your child has any food restrictions or allergies, please notify the office and classroom.
- Montessori Center School encourages healthy eating habits and is concerned with your child's consumption of chemical preservatives, additives and processed sugar. We ask that your child's lunch include healthful foods - those without the above mentioned items. No candy, gum, sodas or sugary cakes/cupcakes/desserts.
- We encourage use of easy-to-open recyclable containers for food and beverages; please label lunch boxes, thermoses, etc. with your child's name. Please avoid lunch boxes or containers with violent or weapons-related motifs.
- State regulations prohibit sharing of food items for Pre-Primary and Primary age students.
Healthy snacks are provided to all students in the morning and during after school care.
