After school care (ACS) is provided Monday through Friday from the end of classes until 5:30pm for Primary and Elementary age students. Starting in the 2013/14 school year, we will also have limited after school care for pre-primary aged students.
The Montessori philosophy is incorporated into the ASC program as much as possible. The daily schedule will be balanced between indoor and outdoor activities. Indoor activities will focus on art projects, crafts, computer games, Montessori games and other stimulating games like chess and checkers while outdoor activities will include sports, playground time and games of various kinds to keep the students' bodies busy and healthy.
A snack of organic fruit, vegetables and crackers will be provided. Elementary age students will also have homework time to work on current classwork. The primary goals of ASC are to provide a welcoming and productive atmosphere which will keep students excited and engaged.
Rates are as follows:
* $8.00 per day for children picked up before 4pm
* $12.00 per day for children picked up after 4pm
* Tardy pick-up fees are $5.00 for each 5 minute increment after 5:30pm
