There are many diverse ways to support Montessori Center School and its programs throughout the school year.

The Fund for MCS provides MCS families, grandparents, alumni, and the wider community, an opportunity to support the school's mission and programs. Donations help fund operating expenses, financial aid, and educational enrichment.

The Montessori Center School Auction Fundraiser, (“The Auction”) is the school’s largest and most exciting fundraising event, raising essential monies to meet the school’s operating expenses, including Financial Aid.

Register your supermarket cards and earn money for MCS!

It is safe, easy, and free with complete privacy and no spam. Sign up with Vons and Ralphs, and every time you shop, MCS will receive a percentage of every dollar you spend. It costs you nothing, but adds up for MCS. Parents must re-enroll their card each year through the Vons and Ralphs websites. Continue or start a new tradition in your family. Teach your children to give a gift to the MCS library for their birthday or in honor of someone they love with a book to be enjoyed by all.

MCS is proud to announce its first annual Chaucer's Day on Sunday, October 9th, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, when 25% of ALL SALES will go to MCS! The Montessori Parent Organization (MPO) invites MCS families and friends to shop for personal and holiday gifts from Chaucer's wonderful selection of books and merchandise. MCS librarian Mary Kuntsal will be on hand to answer questions and help parents and children pick out the perfect title! When you're finished shopping, stop by the fountain for refreshments with other MCS families.

There are a number of businesses who will donate back to MCS when you patronize them. Check this year's MCS directory for Booster listings and make sure to mention you are an MCS parent and we will all benefit.

MCS is proud to offer Scrip sales.

Bring used inkjet cartridges, toner, and cell phones to the Development Office to be recycled. MCS receives money for each item and you help the environment!

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month, California Pizza Kitchen gives MCS 20% from all orders, all day long, including Summer (dine in or take out).

Where does the donated money go?

As we get ready for our schools Auction Fundraiser, the money from Eat Out Tuesday goes towards supplies and framing of art projects from each classroom that will be auctioned off at the Live Auction. Ideally all supplies and items for art projects would be donated.  But this is not always the case and our school appreciates having these funds to help off-set the costs that are incurred.

MCS is proud to announce its first annual Holiday Boutique, Thursday, December 1st from 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the MCS Multi-Purpose Building. Shop for holiday gifts from over 30 vendors products including: art, books, clothing, educational toys, wine, home and holiday decor, local artisan original jewelry, gifts and more. 20% of all sales made benefit MCS. Enjoy live holiday music by coastal jazz musicians Lauren Monda and John Payne, sip on an espresso from Twin Cups or indulge in a frozen yogurt while you browse. This event is open to the public so please invite your friends and family for a day of shopping at MCS you can feel good about!
