FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Fund for MCS 2012-2013

The Fund for MCS is part of the Montessori Center School culture.  The Fund for MCS enables MCS to provide a robust curriculum and nurturing environment that provides our children an incomparable education.  Qualities that we consider integral to MCS such as:

  • exceptional enrichment classes;
  • regular enhancements to the playgrounds and beautiful gardens;
  • a wide variety of educational classroom materials;
  • contributions to financial aid that increase school diversity;
  • a growing Operational Reserve to ensure school sustainability

all benefit from the Fund for MCS program.  Tuition alone does not cover the costs of providing an MCS education.  In fact, the gap between tuition and educational costs per student equals approximately $1,500 per year.   As with most independent schools, the annual fund fills this gap.

While the dollar amount of our donations is what fills the gap, the generous spirit behind each contribution is equally important.

Your contribution to the Fund for MCS program means contributing to the faculty, classrooms, and environment that make MCS the unique and extraordinary school that it is. Reaching the 2012-13 Fund for MCS goal of 100% parent participation is fundamental to providing MCS's educational program for our children. Please go to https://www.mcssb.org/donate to make your gift on line.  Thank you in advance for your generous contribution.  Every dollar is a building block for a better school and an investment in our children.
